About Ashley

I am Ashley Hendrickson, a mother of two and a lover of travel. I work as an independent travel advisor with the agency, Travelmation. I help travelers choose cruises, whether it be ocean or river with a focus on Viking as the premium line. If you want a calm, grown up cruise, with the support to back it, you are in the right place. I book all ages and any cruise.

Why I niche in cruises

I asked the travelers I help what they actually love about a good travel advisor, and what they wish they had when they booked on their own. Their answers are the reason I do the work this way.

1. You get one person who knows river cruises, not a call center, and not a website that sells everything.
2. I help you pick the right river, line, and cabin for how you actually travel, not the one with the biggest ad budget.
3. You see the whole cost before you commit, fare, gratuities, drinks, excursions, and transfers, so there are no surprises.
4. I watch the dates, the promos, and the cabin you want, and I tell you when to book, especially for Christmas markets and peak sailings.
5. If the river changes the plan, you call me, not a queue. I explain the options in plain words and sort the replan.
6. I plan it around your pace, gentle walking groups, a cabin near the lift, a day early to rest, and insurance that covers what Medicare does not.
7. You pay the same fare as booking direct. I do not charge any fees for my travel services. I am paid by the suppliers, not the customer, and there will never be any hidden agency fees.

And I will tell you the honest limits, like when a ship is not the right fit for a wheelchair, or when a sailing is likely to be affected by water levels. I would rather tell you that before you book than after.

I do promise to remain available for all of my clients who are traveling, and I vow to always respond promptly. I read every request myself.
